Happy to announce that htt Group is the official sales partner for Coherent for central Europe from now on.
A laser-focused legacy
Founded in California in 1966, Coherent is a global provider of lasers and laser-based technology for scientific, commercial and industrial customers.
With limited financial resources, the engineers who started Coherent established our first headquarters in the Palo Alto home of co-founder James Hobart.
At that time, the pressing need for a 220-volt power outlet forced our brain trust to build our first laser in a laundry room. In the summer of 1966, next to a washer and dryer, and using a piece of rain gutter as a key component, our founders began building our first laser. Four months later, we unveiled the very first CO₂ commercially available laser.
Today, Coherent is one of the world’s leading photonics innovators and manufacturers.

Our htt Probecard Division is ISO 9001-2015 certified. We design and manufacture in Dresden. The product range includes Cantilever or Blade Type probe cards, single and multiple test, for cold and hot test temperature, special probe cards and our Mini Prober which tests small pieces of a wafer. In our Repair & Service Center we are able to repair nearly all kinds of probe cards.
Since 1992 the htt Dresden Probecards facility has been designing, developing & producing high sophisticated ‚made in Germany‘ Probecards. Our 17 probe card engineers build Cantilever - , Blade Type -, Kerf Microspring -, High Power - , Low and High Temperature -, Low Scrub -, Low Leakage / Ultra Low Leakage -, customized and special Probecards as well as Mini Probers – the smallest Prober of the world.
Additionally, in our European Probe Cards Repair – and Servicecenter in Dresden our team provides repairs of all kinds of standard and advanced Probe Cards as well as the advanced Probecards from MPI Taiwan.
Our own Probecard Production is ISO 9001: 2015 certified in order to increase efficiency & productivity and to meet the demands of today’s process quality.

- Selbständige Installation und Inbetriebnahme von komplexen Systemen zur Halbleiterherstellung, sowie zum
Wafer- und Bauteiletest
- Einweisung, Training, Wartung, Fehlersuche und Reparatur von unseren Anlagen vor Ort beim Kunden
Kommunikation mit Kunden und Lieferanten auf Deutsch und Englisch
Was sollten Sie mitbringen ?
- Sie verfügen über ein abgeschlossenes Studium als Ingenieur im Bereich Elektrotechnik, Mechatronik, alternativ
über eine elektrotechnische Berufsausbildung, beispielsweise Elektroniker, Mechatroniker, Elektromechaniker
gerne mit Fortbildung zum staatlich geprüften Techniker (m/w/d)
- Kenntnisse der in der Halbleitertechnik eingesetzten Systeme wie z. B. Wafer Prober, Wafer Handler, Wafer
Kontaminations-/ ESD Messgeräte, Thermostreamer, Klimaschränke und andere wären ideal
- Berufserfahrung im Service/ Außendienst
- Kommunikationsfähigkeit, Durchsetzungsvermögen und Teamfähigkeit
- Hohe Einsatzbereitschaft, Flexibilität und Belastbarkeit
- Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sind notwendig
- Fundierte PC-Kenntnisse
- Gute, breitgefächerte technische Grundlagenkenntnisse
- Selbständige, gewissenhafte und sehr sorgfältige Arbeitsweise
- Hohe Reisebereitschaft hauptsächlich im deutschsprachigen Raum

What a crazy year for all of us with so many uncertainties, fears, and new situations we all needed to cope with.
Times like this show us what is really important: health and to be able to spend time with our loved ones.
Here in Germany, we have hard times again going through another ‘hard lockdown‘ which will not allow us to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve like we used to.
However, if this year has taught us something then it is to be grateful – also for the smaller things in our lives which we normally would always take for granted.
